d. Service utility manifold reservoir (14).
(1) Position lever (11) to utility position (out-
board).
(2) Fill reservoir (14) by pumping handle (6) until
piston (15) appears in normal operating
range of indicator (16). Check cylinder for
leakage.
(3) Verify indicator (16) reading.
e. If indicator (13) or (16) exceeds normal operat-
ing range:
NOTE
This task forces excess fluid into fluid
service unit.
(1) For indicator (13), apply primary hydraulic
power (para 1.72). For indicator (16), apply
utility hydraulic power (para 1.73).
(2) Apply external power air (para 1.71).
(3) Pressurize air system (TM 1-1520-238-T).
(4) Operate air and hydraulic servicing units until
indicator (13) and/or (16) is in normal operat-
ing range.
