BRAKE CONTROL VALVES INTERNAL LEAKAGE REPAIR AND TEST (AVIM) – continued
3.63.7. Assembly
a. Assemble piston (6).
(1) Install spring (11) into piston (6) bore with
head of piston (6) down.
(2) Install poppet (9) over spring (11).
(3) Install cap (8) over poppet (9).
(4) Push down on poppet (9) and spring (11) to
install disk (10) into piston (6).
(5) Install new disk (10) into piston (6).
(6) Hold piston (6). Install cap (8) on piston (6)
until it bottoms.
(7) Lubricate new packing (7). Use hydraulic fluid
(item 93, App F).
(8) Install packing (7) on piston (6).
