ENGINE VENTILATION DOOR REPLACEMENT – continued
2.147.3. Removal
a. Remove engine ventilation door (1) from en-
gine ventilation door assembly (2).
(1) Remove six screws (3), washers (4), and nuts
(5), from two hinges (6), door (1), and door
assembly (2).
(2) Remove and discard door (1) from door as-
sembly (2).
2.147.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
2.147.5. Inspection
a. Check door assembly and attachment area for
cracks and corrosion (para 2.129).
2.147.6. Installation
a. Install new door (1) on door assembly (2).
(1) Install six screws (3), washers (4), and nuts
(5) on door (1), door assembly (2), and two
hinges (6).
b. Inspect (QA).
c. Secure access door LN3 or RN3 (para 2.2).
d. Install engine access and ventilation door as-
sembly rig connecting link (para 2.144).
