6.31.3. Removal
CAUTION
To prevent foreign objects from falling in-
side oil jet, install protective bolt in oil jet
filter port as soon as possible.
a. Remove oil jet filter (1) from oil jet (2).
(1) Remove lockwire securing filter (1) to bolt (3).
(2) Remove filter (1) from jet (2).
(3) Remove and discard packing (4) from filter
(1).
b. Install protective bolt (5) in jet (2).

a. Clean removed and attaching parts or sur-
faces (para 1.47).
