6.146.3. Removal
a. Remove machine plug (1) from tail rotor gear-
box (2).
(1) Remove plug (1) from gearbox (2).
(2) Remove and discard packing (3).
b. Install protective plug (4) in gearbox (2).
6.146.4. Cleaning
a. Clean removed and attaching parts or sur-
faces (para 1.47).
