RIGHT AUXILIARY FUEL TANK CHECK VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
10.90.6. Installation
CAUTION
Arrow on check valve must point up.
a. Install check valve (1).
(1) Lubricate new packing (4). Use petrolatum
(item 138, App F).
(2) Install packing (4) on valve (1) where arrow
points.
(3) Lubricate threads on both ends of valve (1).
Use petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(4) Hold mounting boss (3). Install valve (1) in
boss (3).
(5) Hold valve (1). Install nut (2).
b. Inspect (QA).
c. Perform auxiliary fuel system maintenance
operational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
d. Install ammunition storage magazine
(TM 9-1090-208-23).
