g. Lateral links.
(1) Maximum allowable radial play 0.014 INCH and maximum allowable axial play 0.030 INCH.

h. Torque link.
(1) Maximum allowable radial play 0.014 INCH and maximum allowable axial play 0.030 INCH.
(2) Maximum allowable lower sleeve bushing radial play 0.004 INCH.
(3) Maximum allowable lower sleeve bushing axial play 0.050 INCH.
i. CPG/Pilot shear pin activated decoupler (SPAD).
NOTE
The following SPAD inspection criteria is typical for all SPADs in the aircraft.
If shear pin(s) cannot be removed by conventional means after repeated attempts from any of the
SPAD assemblies (CPG or pilot), deliberately shearing the pin is permitted. Ensure the ends of the
pins are removed.
(1) (SPAD) shear pins.
(a) Inspect removed shear pins for straightness (bent/bowed) and deep material scratches. None allowed.
(b) Minor surface scratches along pin shank are permitted, as are tooling marks and gouges, resulting
from removal process, on ends of pin (head/taper).
(2) Bracket surfaces. Gouges, dents, and scratches not to exceed 0.015 INCH in depth, must be blended out.
Use depth gage.
(3) Rigging pin ears. Gouges and dents not to exceed 0.015 INCH in depth. Use depth gage.
(4) Rigging pin holes. Hole stop not to exceed 0.010 INCH.
(5) Connect pin holes. Maximum allowable pinhole elongation 0.002 INCH.
(6) (SPAD) microswitches.
(a) Check anodized surface for galling. None allowed.
(b) Torque strip on fastening hardware (mounting plate to SPAD Assembly).
(c) Bent switch arms (roller arms).
(d) Potting compound visible on one of the fasteners (nut/bolt) for the switch mounting plate (mounting
plate to SPAD Assembly).
