SCOPE.
This manual is an Aviation Unit Maintenance (AVUM) manual. Its purpose is to provide the means of interpreting Fire
Control Computer (FCC) read codes for on-line analysis of all aircraft systems that communicate with the FCC. The
read codes listed in this manual are valid only for Fire Control Computers (Part No. 73192000055) programmed
with product Software Part No. 7MD920000145 (ACY), (Part No. 73192000059A) programmed with product
Software Part No. 7MD920000149A (ACZ) and (part No. 731920000511) programmed with product software
Part No. 7MD920000151 (ADD). DO NOT attempt to use this manual with any other FCC part number installed on
the aircraft. Use of this manual with another FCC part number will result in erroneous or false failure indications.

MAINTENANCE FORMS, RECORDS, AND REPORTS.
Department of Army forms and procedures used for equipment maintenance will be those described by
DA PAM 738751, The Army Maintenance Management System Aircraft (TAMMSA).

DESTRUCTION OF ARMY MATERIAL TO PREVENT ENEMY USE.
Destruction procedures you need to know are found in TM 75024415, Procedures For The Destruction Of
Aircraft And Associated Equipment To Prevent Enemy Use.

QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL.
Quality assurance information you are required to use is explained in FM 1511, Army Aircraft Quality Control and
Technical Inspection.

DEFICIENCY REPORTING.
If your equipment needs correction or improvement, let us know. Send us a Deficiency Report (DR). You, the user,
are the only one who can tell us what you dont like about your equipment. Let us know what you dont like about the
design. Put it on SF 368 (Quality Deficiency Report). Mail it to Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile
Command, Attn: AMSAM-MMC-LS-P, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5230. A reply will be furnished directly to you.
