k. Check that FUEL QTY indicator and pilot
FUEL quantity indicator (fig. 1075)
indications are the same.
If AFT FUEL QTY indicator does not indicate same
fuel load as pilot FUEL quantity indicator AFT vertical
display, go to paragraph 1082.
If FWD FUEL QTY indicator does not indicate same
fuel load as pilot FUEL quantity indicator FWD vertical
display, go to paragraph 1083.

l. Remove fuel nozzle from cell filler port
(fig. 1073), then remove fuel nozzle ground
plug from helicopter refueling ground jack.
m. Release fuel/defuel controllable (fig. 1073)
check valve control cable from hold-open
detent, and allow check valve to close.
If check valve does not close with control cable
released from hold-open detent, replace refuel/defuel
controllable check valve (TM 1-1520-238-23).
n. Install fuel filler cap in fuel cell filler port
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
If fuel filler cap does not fit into fuel cell filler port, go
to paragraph 1074.
If filler cap locking tab does not lock filler cap, go to
paragraph 1075.
o. Place suitable container under fuel cell
sump drain and operate push-to-drain
control (fig. 1076). Fuel flows from sump
drain.
If fuel does not flow from sump drain, go to
paragraph 1015.
