The fuel system may be damaged if air
does not vent from the fuel cells during
servicing. Stop fuel servicing if air does
not escape from vent tubes.
k. Check forward and aft fuel cell vents (12) and
(13) for escaping air.
Failure of automatic shutoff sequence
will be indicated by fuel flowing from
fuel cell vent tubes. This failure could
damage the airframe and injure per-
sonnel. Manually stop fuel flow if this
occurs. If injury occurs, seek medical
