TAIL ROTOR BLADE STRIKE
If cracks/delaminations are suspected, perform nondestructive inspection
(TM 1-1520-264-23).
a. Check full blade chord for strike damage from impact point to trailing edge.
b. Check entire blade trailing edge for buckling.
c. Check all root end doublers for delamination.
d. Check tail rotor head and fork for cracks and other damage.
e. Check tail rotor blade for improper feathering function.

ROTOR OVERSPEED
If cracks/delaminations are suspected, perform nondestructive inspection
(TM 1-1520-264-23).
100% to 110%:
No inspection required.
111% to 115%:
a. Check main and tail rotor blades for root area cracks, delamination, and
distortion.
b. Check main and tail rotor heads for cracks or other damage. Give special
attention to:
(1) Straps packs: cracks, buckling, and edge failures.
(2) Lead lag link: cracks and distortion.
116% to 119%:
a. Remove main rotor blades.
b. Remove tail rotor blades.
c. Check main rotor blade pins and tail blade bolts for cracks or rotor
deformation.
d. Check main and tail rotor blades for root area cracks, delamination, and
distortion.
