2.44.3. Removal
a. Remove thumb latch (1) and hook (2) from
airframe (3).
(1) Remove two rivets (4) from thumb latch (1)
and airframe (3) (TM 1-1500-204-23).
(2) Remove latch (1) from airframe (3).
(3) Remove two rivets (4), door hook (2), and
shim (5), if installed, from door (6)
(TM 1-1500-204-23).
2.44.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe mounting surfaces with a clean rag.
