ACCESS DOOR T250L OR T250R REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
2.125.3. Removal
a. Remove access door (1) from support assem-
bly (2).
(1) With one person holding door (1), remove 10
screws (3) and washers (4) from 2 hinges (5)
and support assembly (2).
(2) Remove door (1) and shims (6). Secure
shims (6) to respective hinge (5) and identify
for proper location.
2.125.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe door and mounting surface with a clean
rag.
2.125.5. Inspection
a. Check door mount for cracks, nicks, dents,
elongated screw holes, and loose or missing
nutplates (para 2.11).
b. Check door for cracks, nicks, dents, loose or
missing hardware (para 2.11).
NOTE
Steps c. and d. refer to aircraft equipped
with EMI provisions.
c. Check door and support mating surface for
loose or damaged EMI gasket (para 2.1).
d. Check door and support mating surface for
damaged EMI conductive coating. Repair door
and mating surface (para 2.34).
