10.2.3. Safety Precautions
WARNING
Jet engine fuel is highly flammable, explosive, and toxic. Work in a well ventilated area away
from open flames. Breathing of vapors could cause dizziness. Wear protective clothing. If jet
engine fuel comes in contact with eyes or skin, flush with water and seek medical aid.
When working on the helicopter, clean up any spilled fuel with cotton rags. Spilled fuel could
ignite and cause injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
