REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
b. Install tube (1) on tube (2) from deck (3).
(1) Place body (5) on tube (1).
(2) Lubricate two new packings (6). Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(3) Install one packing (6) on tube (2).
(4) Install one packing (6) on tube (1).
(5) Slide and center body (5) over packings.
(6) Install retainer (4) over body (5). Ensure safe-
ty spring (16) is fully locked.
c. Install two clamps (10) on tube (1) from bay
(7).
(1) Install two screws (8) through two washers
(9) and clamps (10) into two brackets (17).
d. Inspect (QA).
e. Perform pressure refueling/defueling mainte-
nance operational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
f. Install No. 4 drive shaft (para 6.8).
g. Install catwalk sections (as required) (para
2.84).
h. Install instrumentation mounting brackets
(TM 11-1520-238-23).
