10.46.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for
cracks, tears, and damaged threads (para
10.1).
10.46.6. Installation
a. Hold clamp (15) in position and insert hose
assembly (5) through grommets (17) and
clamp (15).
b. Install hose (5) on valve (7).
(1) Lubricate threads of connector (8). Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Install connector (8) on adapter (6).
(3) Turn connector (8) until seated and locking
teeth engage with adapter (7).
c. Install hose (5) on elbow (9).
(1) Lubricate threads of nipple (10). Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Install hose nut (11) on nipple (10).
d. Install clamp (15) on mounting bracket (16).
(1) Install screw (13) and washer (14) on clamp
(15) and mounting bracket (16).
e. Inspect (QA).
