10.108. APU FUEL PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
10.108.6. Installation
a. Install nipples (4) and (7) and elbow (10) in
pump (12).
(1) Lubricate threads of nipples (4) and (7) and
elbow (10). Use petrolatum (item 138,
App F).
(2) Lubricate three new packings (17), (19), and
(20). Use petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(3) Install packing (20) on nipple (7).
(4) Install nipple (7) in pump (12).
(5) Install packing (17) on nipple (4).
(6) Install nipple (4) in pump (12).
NOTE
Do not tighten elbow at this time.
(7) Install packing (19) on elbow (10).
(8) Install elbow (10) in pump (12).
