10.109. APU FUEL PUMP INLET TUBE REPLACEMENT – continued
10.109.6. Installation
a. Install tube (1) on valve (5). Torque nut (7) to
120 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Lubricate threads of valve (5). Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Hold elbow (6). Install nut (7) on valve (5).
Torque nut (7) to 120 INCH-POUNDS. Use
torque wrench.
b. Install tube (1) on pump (2). Torque nut (4) to
120 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Lubricate threads of nipple (3). Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Hold nipple (3). Install tube nut (4) on nipple
(3). Torque nut (4) to 120 INCH-POUNDS.
Use torque wrench.
c. Inspect (QA).
d. Perform APU fuel system priming (para
1.27A).
e. Perform auxiliary power unit maintenance op-
erational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
f. Perform fuel system priming operation (para
1.23).
g. Install ammunition storage magazine
(TM 9-1090-208-23).
