FUEL BOOST PUMP CANISTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
NOTE
Removal of six canister mounting bolts
will cause fuel spill.
d. Remove canister (2) from fuel cell (9).
(1) Remove six bolts (10) and washers (11).
(2) Remove and discard packing (12).
(3) Remove canister (2).
e. Remove fitting (3) and nipple (6) from canister
(2).
(1) Remove fitting (3) and nipple (6). Use open
end wrench.
(2) Remove and discard packings (13) and (14)
from fitting (3) and nipple (6).
10.116.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
10.116.5. Inspection
a. Check hoses, canister, fitting, and nipple for
cracks, nicks, cuts, and damaged threads
(para 10.1).
