COLLECTIVE STICK RF OVERRIDE SWITCH REPLACEMENT – continued
WARNING
Soldering iron can cause severe
burns to personnel and start fires.
Observe all safety precautions when
using soldering iron. If injury occurs,
seek medical aid.
b. Solder wires (11) to switch (10).
(1) Solder identified wires (11) to switch (10).
Use soldering iron and solder (item 189,
App F) (TM 55-1500-323-24).
c. Apply a thin coat of adhesive over switch (10)
terminals and bare wires. Use adhesive
(item 14, App F).
d. With switch (10) depressed, check for conti-
nuity between pins X and Y on connector
P107 (pilot) or connector P108 (CPG). Use
multimeter.
e. Inspect (QA).
f. Install plate (8) on collective grip (6).
(1) Position plate (8) on grip (6).
(2) Install three screws (9).
