c. Install rod (5) on bellcrank (6). Torque nut (8) 30
to 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Aline rod (5) with bellcrank (6).
(2) Install bolt (9) through washer (10), bushing
(11), bellcrank (6), and rod (5).
(3) Check fit of self-retaining bolt (9) (para 11.1).
(4) Install nut (8). Torque nut (8) to 30 INCH-
POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
(5) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(6) Install new cotter pin (7).
d. Install cover (1) on airframe (2).
(1) Aline holes in cover (1) with holes in airframe
(2).
(2) Install 15 screws (3) and washers (4).
e. Inspect (QA).
f. Connect
ammunition
conveyor
(TM 9-1090-208-23).
g. Install flex chute on area weapon
(TM 9-1090-208-23).
h. Perform lateral flight control rigging mainte-
nance operational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
i. If removed install forward fuel cell retainer
panel (para 10.52A).
j. Install access fairing L140 (para 2.2).
