current 28 VDC or 115 VAC is present.
Failure to do so could result in death or
serious injury.
1. Check for 28 VDC at (A402)XK57/8X1.
Is voltage present?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Repair open wire between
(A402):
TB217D and XK57/8X1.
Go to paragraph 1017.
2. With meter at diode setting and positive meter
lead on wire end at TB217E, check for open
between (A402):
TB217E and TB217J.
Does open exist?
YES
Go to step 3.
NO
Go to step 4.
3. Check for open between (A402):
TB217E and TB328/29D,
TB217J and TB328/29J.
Does open exist?
YES
Repair open wire.
Go to paragraph 1017.
NO
Replace terminal board
(A402)TB328/29
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
4. Check for open between (A402):
XK57/8C1 and TB217C,
TB217C and TB217J,
XK57/8X2 and GS10E.
Does open exist?
YES
Repair open wire or replace
terminal board (A402) TB217.
Go to paragraph 1017.
NO
Go to step 5.
5. Detach wire at XK57/8A3. Check for short
between (A402)P440A8 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Repair shorted wire.
Go to paragraph 1017.
NO
Replace relay (A402)K57/8
