May 2002.
4.
Summary of the Problem.
a. History-- SOF AH--64--02--05 was issued to remove flight restrictions imposed by SOF
AH--64--00--08 (TB 1--1520--251--20--01). The purpose of the SOF was to inspect for the installation of sus-
pect High Power Switching Modules (HPSM), and for the installation of MWO 1--1520--251--55--07. Further
investigation revealed additional HPSM's that must be considered suspect. With the addition of these sus-
pect HPSM's, it is possible some aircraft released from the flight restrictions imposed IAW AH--64--00--08 may
still be at risk.
NOTE
After receipt of this TB and until 31 Jan 03, commanders will notify the POC in paragraph 16b
after control exchange of a GCU to ensure proper tracking of MWO 1--1520--251--55--06 ap-
plication.
c.

(2) Identify and replace suspect HPSM's.
