Places the missile system in standby mode.

Places the missile system in normal mode in which only priority channel missiles can
be fired.
RIPL
Places the missile system in ripple mode in which priority and alternate channel
missiles can be fired alternately.
MAN
Permits manual advance of missile selection instead of using auto replenishment.
MAN ADV/
DEICE
Used with the MAN position of missile mode to actually advance missile selection
manually. This DEICE mode is used to manually initiate the separation of the ice
protection dome on the HELLFIRE missile. Separation will occur for the priority missile
of the priority channel.
LOAL
This switch and related positions function identically to the pilot LOAL switch.
4.21.2 CPG Fire Control Panel.
CAUTION
With the PLT/GND ORIDE switch in the
ORIDE position and the CPG SIGHT SE-
LECT switch set to NVS, the high action
display is disabled. The AWS can be ac-
tioned without any message in weapon
control or weapon status and can result
in damage during takeoff or landing if the
30 mm gun is actioned and depressed in-
advertently.
The CPG fire control panel, placarded FIRE CONTROL
(fig 4-14), is located in the left vertical instrument panel (fig
2-10) and receives power from the No. 1 essential bus
and No. 3 essential dc bus; protection is provided by the
FC AC and FC DC circuit breakers located on the pilot
overhead circuit breaker panel. The CPG FIRE CON-
TROL panel is continuously monitored by FD/LS; the on
command test (test 15-UTIL) will fault isolate to the LRU.
