ACQ SEL
Enables cueing or slaving to selected acquisition LOS when the slave pushbutton is
actuated. Only the TADS may be slaved to a selected acquisition LOS, all others
receive cueing.
FXD
Defines the fixed forward position.
TGT
Defines the selected target as the acquisition source.
NAV (49)
Same as TGT position.
NAV (51)
Defines FLYTO as selected acquisition source.
GHS
CPG helmet LOS is defined as the acquisition source.
MSL/ SKR
The Hellfire missile seeker angles define the acquisition LOS.
TADS
The TADS LOS is defined as the acquisition LOS. This mode is not active if the sight
selected is TADS.
PHS
The pilot helmet LOS is defined as the acquisition LOS.
CHAN SEL
Functions the same as the pilot channel select switch.
MSL UPR/
LWR CHAN
Labels used on the CPG fire control panel for set-up of two missile channels. Once a
set-up has been made, the channel select switch is actuated either to upper or lower
establishing that code and quantity set-up as the priority channel; by default, the other
code and quantity set-up becomes the alternate channel.
LSR CODE
Specifies the alphabetic laser code designator assigned to that channel set-up.
QTY
Specifies the number of missiles per channel that are to be coded and brought to a
ready state at one time. A maximum of three missiles is permitted per channel at one
time.
LSR MSL
CCM
The LSR MSL CCM switch location lower center of the CPG HELLFIRE fire control
panel, provides HELLFIRE weapons system hardening in the true or up position.
The LSR MSL CCM switch position is set during the sequence of operations in which
the code is loaded to a specific missile location.
In the absence of enemy countermeasures, the CCM switch shall remain in the false
or down position.
TGT/NAV
Numeric value in the window specifies the storage location of selected target
coordinate data. The range is 0-9.
The switch is inoperative.
