Weapons action switch. Actions the selected armament and removes the electrical
trigger interlock.
RKT
Actions the Aerial Rocket Control System; pylons will articulate to commanded
quadrant elevation and displays the rocker steering indicator. The ORT WAS in the
RKT position defines the cooperative engagement mode.
GUN
Actions the M-230E1 gun system and slaves the gun turret to the selected LOS.
MSL
Actions the Hellfire missile system and displays constraints symbology.
Sensor
select
Selects the desired sensor to TADS.
DVO
Selects the direct view optics.
DTV
Selects the day television.
FLIR
Selects the FLIR.
UPDT/ST
Actuation signals the FCC to execute the update or store functions of waypoint/
targeting.
IAT OFS
Engages offset track mode of the image auto tracker.
LMC
Turns on the linear motion compensation and rate integrator tracking aids.
Weapons
trigger
Two-position guarded trigger which enables weapons firing. The first detent is for
normal selected weapons usage; the second will override the selected weapons
performance inhibits, but not the safety inhibits of the selected weapons.
