REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
(5) Hold bolt (32). Use box wrench.
(6) Torque nut (33) to 3360 INCH-POUNDS. Use
torque wrench, adapter, and 5-inch
extension.
(7) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 3640 INCH-POUNDS.
(8) Install new cotter pin (31).
b. Install strut (2) on deck (26). Torque bolt (27) to
1900 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Apply antiseize compound to bolt (27).
(2) Install bolt (27) through washer (28) and strut
(2) into deck (26).
(3) Torque bolt (27) to 1900 INCH-POUNDS.
Use socket wrench and torque wrench.
(4) Lockwire bolt (27) to strut (2). Use wire
(item 226, App F).
c. Install clamp (19) on strut (2).
(1) Install screw (20) through washer (23), brack-
et (25), washer (24), and clamp (19).
(2) Install washer (22) and nut (21).
d. Install clamp (14) on strut (2).
(1) Install bolt (15) through two clamps (18) and
(14).
(2) Install washer (17) and nut (16).
