7.112.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
7.112.5. Inspection
a. Check port for cracks and stripped or dam-
aged threads (para 7.56).
b. Check attaching parts for corrosion (para
1.49).
7.112.6. Installation
a. Install new lockring (1) on new adapter (4).
b. Install new packing (12) on adapter (4).
(1) Lubricate packing (12). Use clean hydraulic
fluid (item 92, App F).
(2) Install packing (12) on adapter (4). Use O-
ring installation tool.
