FORWARD FUEL CELL FILLER NECK REMOVAL – continued
d. Remove access cover (14) from transmission
deck (2).
(1) Remove eight screws (15) and packings with
retainer (16).
(2) Discard eight packings with retainers (16).
e. Remove sealant from two bolts (17) and re-
move bolts (17) and rectangular washers (18)
from vent tube adapter mounting pad (19).
f. Remove sealant from two bolts (20) and re-
move bolts (20), rectangular washers (21), and
flat washers (22) from pilot valve mounting
pad (23).
g. Remove fuel cell refueling breakaway valve
(24) from mounting pad (23).
(1) Remove two bolts (25) and washers (26).
(2) Remove and discard packing (27).
h. Remove sealant from two bolts (28) and re-
move bolts (28) and two washers (29) that at-
tach cell (8) to refueling breakaway valve
mounting pad (30) in ammunition bay.
