10.102. NO. 1 ENGINE LOWER FUEL SUPPLY HOSE REPLACEMENT – continued
b. Install hose (1) on hose (6).
(1) Install washer (11) on hose (1) fitting, in am-
munition bay.
(2) Lubricate hose (1) fitting in ammunition bay.
Use petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(3) Insert hose (1) fitting through mounting hole
in deck (7).
(4) One person hold hose (1). Use strap wrench.
(5) Second person install washer (10) and jam
nut (9) from deck (7). Use open end wrench.
(6) Install nut (8) on hose (1) on deck (7). Use
open end wrench.
c. Install hose (1) on valve (2).
(1) Lubricate connector (3). Use petrolatum
(item 138, App F).
(2) Install connector (3) on adapter (5).
(3) Turn connector (3) until seated and locking
teeth engage with adapter (5).
d. Inspect (QA).
e. Perform fuel system priming operation (para
1.23).
f. Perform fuel crossfeed/boost system mainte-
nance operational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
g. Install ammunition storage magazine
(TM 9-1090-208-23).
