b. Remove valve (1) from bracket (5).
(1) Remove four bolts (6) and washers (7).
(2) Remove valve (1) and gasket (8) from brack-
et (5). Discard gasket (8).
10.104.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
10.104.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for nicks,
cracks, dents, and damaged threads (para
10.1).
10.104.6. Installation
a. Install valve (1) on bracket (5).
(1) Lubricate both sides of new gasket (8). Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Install gasket (8) on bracket (5).
(3) Place valve (1) through opening in firewall
(9). Aline mounting bolt holes.
(4) Install four bolts (6) and washers (7).
