FUEL BOOST PUMP, MOTOR, AND DRAIN TUBE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
d. Remove air inlet hose (4) from fuel boost
pump motor (5).
(1) Hold nipple (6). Use open end wrench. Re-
move hose nut (7).
e. Remove air outlet hose (8) from motor (5).
(1) Loosen hose clamp (9).
(2) Slide clamp (9) back on hose (8).
(3) Remove hose (8) clear of motor (5).
f. Remove boost pump fuel drain tube assembly
(10) from motor (5).
(1) Hold nipple (11). Remove nut (12).
(2) Pull tube (10) from nipple (11) and through
grommet (13).
CAUTION
If continuous leakage is noted after the
boost pump clears the first packing, rein-
stall boost pump, tighten mounting
screws. Defuel helicopter before per-
forming step g(2) (para 1.19).
NOTE
When removing motor, ensure tab re-
mains in pump.
g. Remove motor (5) from canister (14).
(1) Remove four mounting screws (15).
(2) Remove motor (5) from canister (14).
(3) Remove and discard packings (16) and (17).
