APU FUEL PUMP FUEL SUPPLY ELBOW REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
d. Remove aft fuel cell upper fuel supply hose (7)
from elbow (5).
(1) Hold nipple (8). Remove nut (9).
e. Remove elbow (5).
(1) Remove sealing compound from heads of
two bolts (10).
(2) Remove two bolts (10) and washers (11).
(3) Unlatch retainer (12) and remove body (13)
from APU shutoff valve (14) and elbow (5).
(4) Remove and discard two packings (15) from
valve (14) and elbow (5).
f. Remove nipple (8) from elbow (5).
(1) Remove and discard packing (16).
10.113.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
10.113.5. Inspection
a. Check fuel supply elbow and attaching parts
for cracks, nicks, damaged threads and loose
or broken components (para 10.1).
