10.133. AFT FUEL CELL NITROGEN INERT CHECK VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
10.133.6. Installation
NOTE
Ensure valve is installed with arrow point-
ing aft and wrench flat on valve nut
stamped HINGE is in 12 o’clock posi-
tion.
a. Install valve (7) on bulkhead (5). Torque nut
(13) to 120 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Install valve (7) through mounting hole in
bulkhead (5) from aft side of bulkhead so that
arrow points aft and wrench flat on valve nut
(15) stamped HINGE is in 12 o’clock posi-
tion.
(2) Install washer (16) and nut (13) on valve (7)
on forward side of bulkhead (5).
(3) Keep valve (7) in position by holding valve nut
(15) on aft side of bulkhead (5).
(4) Torque nut (13) to 120 INCH-POUNDS. Use
torque wrench and crowfoot.
b. Install tube (12) on valve (7). Torque nut (14) to
120 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Install nut (14) on valve (7).
(2) Hold valve nut (15). Torque nut (14) to 120
INCH-POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
