g. Remove hose (5) from T-fitting (13) in am-
munition bay.
(1) Hold T-fitting (13) across flats. Remove hose
nut (14).
(2) Remove hose (5).
10.134.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe both ends of hose, valve hose fitting,
and open hose end of T-fitting with a clean
rag.
b. Clean sealing compound residue from access
cover and mounting area on transmission
deck (para 1.47).
10.134.5. Inspection
a. Check hose for cracks, splits, and clamp chaf-
ing.
b. Check valve hose nuts for nicks, dents, and
damaged threads (para 10.1).
c. Check inert breakaway valve for damage and
stripped threads (para 10.1).
d. Check hose clamp for damage.
(1) Check mounting screw and nut for thread
damage (para 10.1).
e. Check hose end of T-fitting for thread dam-
age.
