AFT FUEL CELL NITROGEN INERT ORIFICE HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
10.132.6. Installation
CAUTION
Jet fuel will cause external surface of fuel
cell to swell, delaminate, and leak if al-
lowed to contact the fuel cell more than
72 HOURS. Keep jet fuel away from the
outside of fuel cells.
a. Install hose (5) on valve (9) at bulkhead.
Torque nut (11) to 120 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Install nut (11) on valve nut (10).
(2) Hold valve nut (10) and tighten nut (11).
Torque nut (11) to 120 INCH-POUNDS. Use
torque wrench.
b. Install hose (5) on adapter (6). Torque nut (8) to
120 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Hold nut (7) of adapter (6).
(2) Install nut (8) on adapter (6).
(3) Torque nut (8) to 120 INCH-POUNDS. Use
torque wrench.
c. Inspect (QA).
