PILOT COLLECTIVE STICK SUPPORT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY (AVIM) – continued
i. Install arm (1) on support (2). Torque nut (4) 30
to 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Aline arm (1) and two retainers (8).
(2) Install pin (7) through support (2), retainer (8),
arm (1), retainer (8), and support (2).
(3) Install bolt (5) through pin (7) and retainer (6).
(4) Check fit of self–retaining bolt (5) (para 11.1).
(5) Install nut (4) on bolt (5). Torque nut (4) to 30
INCH-POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
(6) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(7) Install new cotter pin (3).
j. Install pilot collective SPAD switch (para
11.64).
k. Inspect (QA).
