LATERAL F.S. 132.84 PUSH-PULL ROD ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
b. Install adjustable end of rod (5) and (6) on
bellcrank (7). Torque nut (9) 30 to 40 INCH-
POUNDS.
(1) Install bolt (10) through washer (11), bushing
(12), bellcrank (7), rod (6), bushing (13), and
rod (5).
(2) Check fit of self-retaining bolt (10) (para
11.1).
(3) Install nut (9). Torque nut (9) to 30 INCH-
POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
(4) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(5) Install new cotter pin (8).
c. Inspect (QA).
d. Remove -5 rig pin (3) from hole (2).
e. Remove cover (4) from stick (1).
f. Inspect (QA).
g. If removed install forward fuel cell retainer
panel (para 10.52A).
h. Perform lateral flight control rigging mainte-
nance operation check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
i. Install pilot cyclic stick cover (para 11.46).
