11.154.4. Cleaning
a. Clean removed and attaching parts (para
1.47).
11.154.5. Inspection
a. Check arms and lever for gouges.
(1) Maximum gouge depth is 0.025 INCH and is
acceptable if no material is raised above sur-
rounding surface.
b. Check cam for gouges.
(1) Maximum gouge depth is 0.025 INCH and is
acceptable if no material is raised above sur-
rounding surface.
c. Check removed and attaching parts for exces-
sive wear, nicks, elongated holes, stripped or
damaged threads, or distortions. None al-
lowed.
d. Check removed and attaching parts for
cracks. None allowed.
e. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
f. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
g. Check all installed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.5).
h. Check all removed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.4).
11.154.6. iAssembly
a. Install bellcrank (16) in bellcrank (2).
(1) Aline bellcrank (16) with bellcrank (2).
(2) Install bolt (40) through washer (41), bushing
(42), bellcrank (16), and bellcrank (2).
(3) Check fit of self-retaining bolt (40) (para
11.1).
(4) Install nut (39) on bolt (40).
(5) Install new cotter pin (38).
