L200 and R200 access
panels and electrical
power distribution panel
(A402) open.
WARNING
Turn off power before detaching or
attaching wires and connectors. High
current 28 VDC or 115 VAC is present.
Failure to do so could result in death or
serious injury.
1. Detach P61. Check for short between:
P61F and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Reconnect P61. Go to step 2.
2. Detach P60. Check for short between:
P60F and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Reconnect P60. Go to step 3.
3. Detach P755. Check for short between:
J7552 and ground,
J7553 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Reconnect P755. Go to step 5.
4. Locate short in wire harness.
Can wire harness be repaired?
YES
Repair shorted wire between:
P61F and ground,
P60F and ground,
P7552 and ground,
P7553 and ground
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
Go to step 613.
NO
Replace the shorted
temperature transducer (MT13,
MT14, MT15, or MT16)
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
Go to paragraph 613.
5. Open ENG START circuit breaker (CB58).
Gain access to Electrical Power Distribution Box
(A402). Depin wires, one at a time, and check
for short between:
TB28 Pin T and ground (NGB 1),
TB28 Pin W and ground (XMN 1),
TB28 Pin K and ground (XMN 2),
TB28 Pin P and ground (NGB 2),
TB28 Pin A and ground (CB58).
Does short exist?
YES
Repair shorted wire
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
Go to paragraph 613.
NO
Go to step 6.
