attaching wires and connectors. High
current 28 VDC or 115 VAC is present.
Failure to do so could result in death or
serious injury.
1. Verify pilot FORCE TRIM switch is set to OFF.
With relay (A402)XK19/10 removed, check for
28 VDC at (A402)K19/10X1.
Is voltage present?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Go to step 4.
2. Check for open between (A402)K19/10X2 and
ground.
Does open exist?
YES
Repair open wire.
Go to paragraph 1112.
NO
Go to step 3.
3. Check for 28 VDC at J1047A,
J1048A, and J1049A.
Is voltage present?
YES
Replace relay (A402)K19/10
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
NO
Replace magnetic brakes:
Lateral (roll) J1047A,
Directional (yaw) J1048A,
Longitudinal (pitch) J1049A
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
4. Check for 28 VDC at (A402)TB228J.
Is voltage present?
YES
Repair open wire between
(A402):
TB28J and K19/10X1.
Go to paragraph 1112.
NO
Go to step 5.
5. Detach P423. Check for 28 VDC at
(A402)J11B7.
Is voltage present?
YES
Go to step 9.
NO
Go to step 6.
6. Detach P441. Check for 28 VDC at P441B10.
Is voltage present?
YES
Go to step 7.
NO
Go to step 8.
