Refer to table 3-16 for partial data entry. When an incom- plete set of data is entered into the CDU scratchpad: Rule 1 – Order of Entry. The order of entry for UTM coordi- nates, magnetic variation and spheroid remains the same regardless of which parameters are or are not entered. They are: grid zone identifier, 100 KM-square identifier, Easting/Northing; magnetic variation; and spheroid. Data entered into the scratchpad is always justified on the left side.
