TAIL ROTOR GEARBOX AND INTERMEDIATE GEARBOX ALARM CONTROL
UNIT TEST
a. Remove tailboom cover R545 (para 2.2.).
b. Check tail rotor gearbox temperature sensors RT7 thru RT10.
(1) Detach connector P201 from receptacle (A418)J1 at tail rotor gearbox
alarm control unit.
(2) Perform continuity check between P201-S and pins A, C, K, and E of
P201 (TM 1-1520-238-T).
(3) If resistance is greater than 2.45 megohms for any pin, replace
applicable temperature sensor (para 6.138) or repair open wire
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
c. Check intermediate gearbox temperature sensors RT13 thru RT15.
(1) Detach connector P200 from receptacle (A419)J1 at intermediate
gearbox alarm control unit.
(2) Perform continuity check between P200-S and pins A, C, K, and E of
P200 (TM 1-1520-238-T).
(3) If resistance is greater than 2.45 megohms for any pin, replace
applicable temperature sensor (para 6.130) or repair open wire
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
d. Attach connectors P200 to receptacle (A419)J1 and P201 to receptacle
(A418)J1.
e. Remove access fairings R510 and L510 (para 2.2.).
f. Detach connector P124 from receptacle J124.
g. Connect battery (para 9.40) and apply battery power
