NOTE
It is normal for grease to appear within 15 to 25 hours of operation after
installation of a new clutch. If grease is noted after two consecutive 50
flight hour inspections following the initial finding, replace PTO clutch.

PTO CLUTCH OIL SAMPLE AND MAGNETIC PLUG INSPECTION
NOTE
Drain oil while the PTO clutch is still warm.
a. Remove magnetic drain plug by pushing in and turning counterclockwise.
Inspect magnetic plug for contamination.
(1) Check magnetic plug for metal chips, granular steel metal flakes or
splinters. None Allowed.
NOTE
Some metal fuzz is permitted during clutch break in period
(First 100 hours of operation).
b. Reinstall magnetic plug by turning clockwise to a locked position. Clean up
any spillage, use clean rag.
