3.41.3. Inspection
a. Check orifice (1) on shock strut (2) for ex-
truded and/or shredded black elastomer like
material. None allowed. Replace shock strut
(para 3.38).
3.41.4. Cleaning
a. Clean adhesive from strut and orifice (para
1.47).
3.41.5. Installation
a. Install cork (3) in orifice (1).
(1) Trim cork (3) until flush with strut (2).
b. Force cork (3) in orifice (1) an additional 0.200
INCH.
c. Fill orifice (1) flush to strut (2). Use adhesive
(item 14, App F).
d. Inspect (QA).
