CAUTION
Do not elongate rivet holes or lack of rivet edge distance will result causing major repair of shelf.
c. If required and alining pencil marks made during boresighting, drill new support (1) to match fuselage
shelf (2) rivet hole pattern.
d. Install support (1) on shelf (2).
(1) Temporarily install support (1) on shelf (2) with four screws (8), washers (9), and shim(s) (11). Torque
screws (8), in a crisscross pattern, to 25 INCH–POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
(2) Measure gap between support (1) and shelf (2) at rivet locations to determine required washer(s) (12)
thickness. Use thickness gage.
(3) Install eight rivets (10) and required thickness washer(s) (12) on support (1) (TM 1-1500-204-23).
e. Perform HARS mount alinement verification (TM 9-1230-476-20-1).
f. If HARS alinement verification is within tolerance go to step g. otherwise go to paragraph 2.98.3.
