FORWARD FUEL CELL LOWER VENT TUBE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
d. Remove vent tube lower clamp (19).
(1) Remove two screws (20) and washers (21).
(2) Remove clamp (19).
e. Remove tube (1) from lightning arrestor
sleeve (22).
(1) Loosen hose clamp (23).
(2) Pull tube (1) until it clears sleeve (22).
(3) Remove hose clamp (23) from sleeve (22).
(4) Remove tube (1) from ammunition bay.
10.24.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
10.24.5. Inspection
a. Check vent tube and sleeve for dents, nicks,
or cracks (para 10.1).
