AFT FUEL CELL INSTALLATION – continued
x. Install fuel cell (2) on vent tube adapter
mounting pad (20) from transmission deck
(50). Torque bolt (55) to 60 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Install bolt (55) and rectangular washer (56).
(2) Install bolt (55) and flat washer (57).
(3) Torque bolt (55) to 60 INCH-POUNDS. Use
torque wrench.
(4) Perform electrical bond check on bolt (55)
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
(a) Bond shall be 1.0 OHM or less. Use
multimeter.
(5) Seal heads of bolts (55). Use sealing
compound (item 175, App F).
y. Remove plate (27) from pad (28) on deck (50).
(1) Remove 24 bolts (29) and washers (30).
z. Remove plate (23) from pad (24) inside fuel
cell (2).
(1) Remove six bolts (25) and washers (26).
