10.57.4. Cleaning
a. Clean removed and attaching parts and sur-
faces (para 1.47).
10.57.5. Inspection
a. Check wires for damaged connections, cuts,
and wear (para 10.1).
b. Check panel for cracks, dents, and damaged
hardware. None allowed.
10.57.6. Installation
a. Install switch (2) on panel (3).
(1) Insert switch (2) with lockwasher (5), and key
washer (6) in panel (3) so that tab (7) seats in
locator hole (8).
(2) Adjust length of switch (2) through panel (3)
with adjustment nut (9) so that one to four
threads of switch (2) extend past nut (4).
(3) Install nut (4).
