PILOT FUEL PANEL SWITCH REPLACEMENT (AVIM) – continued
c. Remove switch (8) from panel (2).
(1) Remove nut (12), switch barrier (12.1) (if
installed), lockwasher (13), and key washer
(14).
10.58.4. Cleaning
a. Clean removed and attaching parts and sur-
faces (para 1.47).
10.58.5. Inspection
a. Check wires for damaged connections, cuts,
and wear (para 10.1).
b. Check panel for cracks, dents, and damaged
hardware. None allowed.
10.58.6. Installation
a. Install switch (8) on panel (2).
(1) Insert switch (8) through lockwasher (13), key
washer (14), and panel (2) so tab (15) seats
in locator hole (16).
(2) Adjust length of switch (8) through panel (2)
with adjustment nut (17) so one to four
threads of switch (8) extend past nut (12).
(3) Install switch barrier (12.1) (if previously
installed) and nut (12).
